How does the ExxonMobil Universal Card save me money?
The program gives you the information to manage your fleet expenses by setting a fleet fueling policy that has many built-in cost control tools –including reports that highlight discrepancies and unauthorized purchases.
 
Will the card be convenient for my drivers?
The card is accepted at 90 percent of U.S retail fueling locations. Of the 140,000 accepting stations, approximately 100,000 locations offer pay-at- the-pump convenience. Your drivers will appreciate how easy it is to use the ExxonMobil Universal Card!
 
Why is it important that my company’s fleet fuel transactions be captured electronically?
With complete fleet card purchase data captured electronically, you receive accurate, up-to-date purchase information – information you can act on to manage costs and identify unauthorized purchases.
 
What kind of security and control will I get?
The Universal Card requires drivers to enter an authorized ID number, as well as the vehicle’s odometer reading in order to use the card. You can restrict purchases to Fuel Only or you can create Custom Control cards. The Custom Control Card and online Profile Manager work together to help support your fleet purchasing policy. You can fine-tune your cards by vehicle and driver purchasing needs. 
 
How often will I be billed?
You can choose to be billed monthly or weekly. Either way you’ll get consolidated, detailed billing that’s accurate and up to date. Flexible payments options include online payment and direct debit. Some direct debit terms even offer discounts.
 
What kind of information about my drivers and vehicles will I get?
The program will provide you with a variety of reports based on the data collected on individual transactions. These include a Fleet Products Report, Exception Summary, Financial Summaries, and Site Summary. These valuable reports are available by mail or online, so you can get information when you need it and how you need it. 
 
What is ExxonMobil Universal Online?
This powerful tool combines the speed of the Internet with the highest level of electronic data capture in the industry. You can also maintain your account – add and delete drivers and cards immediately right from your desktop. You have real-time online access to your fleet’s transaction information as it posts to your account, helping you identify the exceptions so you can enforce your purchasing policies quickly. Streamline your payment process by paying your invoice online.
 
What if I need help in the middle of the night or on a weekend?
Just call the toll-free number to speak with an experienced customer service staff member. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help you with account information and account updates. They can also assist drivers with fueling site locations.
 
What if my organization is tax exempt?
If your fleet is exempt from motor fuel excise tax or certain sales taxes – at Federal, State, County or City levels – the program can significantly reduce your accounting and administrative time. For qualified fleets, fuel purchases are billed net of applicable fuel taxes.
 
Can I use the card for service and maintenance?
Yes. The ExxonMobil Universal Card is accepted at more than 45,000 service and maintenance sites nationwide. You can use Product Class Controls to select product categories and set purchase limits.
 
How much does the ExxonMobil Universal Program cost?
There’s a one-time setup fee of $40 per account and a cost of $2.00 per month for each card issued to your company. Penny for penny, feature for feature, this is a great value for your dollar. If, at any time, you are not satisfied because the ExxonMobil Universal program fails to deliver on the stated service standards, you can receive a rebate for up to one year of your card fees. To exercise this guarantee, your account must be current and paid in full at the time of cancellation and refund. Ask your sales representative for complete details.
